We have all been greatly affected by the pandemic. Whether it is loss of freedom, loss of a sense of security, or loss of a loved one, we will be forever changed by this time. As such, I have decided to shift to a sliding scale fee structure. Based on the financial resources you have, you can choose to pay between $50 and $125 per session. This shift in fee structure is not due to a decrease in the value of the work, but rather as respect to the financial reality the pandemic has left us with. Here are some examples to help you decide where you may land in this fee structure:
- $50 – Has your business been shut down because of COVID-19? Have you been struggling to make ends meet but you are still hungry for some therapeutic support? This is the level for you.
- $75 – Have you been getting by okay during this pandemic? Are you feeling a little less comfortable with your financial situation but do not want to go any longer without any therapeutic support? This is the level for you.
- $100 – Feeling pretty good? Have a good remote job or a job you feel secure about for the near future and miss working with me? This is the level for you.
- $125 – Do you feel secure about your financial situation for the time being and really love working with me? Do you want to help pay it forward for someone else to be able to receive this work? Thank you! You are funding health in your community. This is the level for you.
These are simply suggestions. No one other than you or I will know what you are paying.
Insurance: At this time personal health insurance in Vermont does not cover massage therapy. However, massage therapy is covered for Worker’s Compensation claims and PIP for automobile accidents. Health Saving and Medical Spending cards are also accepted. I can provide you with a receipt with insurance codes that you can submit. I do not bill insurance directly.
